I have been playing golf most of my life. The game was introduced to me at the age of 12 and I have been around it most everyday since. I competed at Servite High in Anaheim which eventually helped me to compete at the University of California, Irvine. My goal was to eventually play on the PGA Golf Tour. Two years into competing on various mini tour tours, I realized the travel of a serious golfer was just not for me. I really wanted to start a family, so that is what I did.
I got my amateur status back and since; I have been competing at the highest amateur tours in the United States. My wife and I ended up having four wonderful children. I coached and went to just about all their games. But I still competed in high level golf. I now also prepare my golf game to compete on the Senior Champions Tour now that I recently turned 50. However, just three years ago, I was diagnosed with severe neck problems to the point where I could no longer swing a club without sharp pains. It got so bad that it got to the point where was awake all night in pain. This took me on a journey that eventually made me implement proper fitness into my life as well as golf game. I had always exercised and lifted weights, but now it would be focused on my recovery and build my golf game stronger than ever. And that is exactly what happened. As I was sidelined for about a little over year in the pain and recovery, I am now back and competing like never before. A recent victory was the MacGregor win in 2019.
So, what does this have to do with Elite Golf Performance? Well, since coming back and striking the ball as I do, and shooting great rounds of golf, many are asking how. Ball striking is definitely my strength. I compete often as well as play recreationally. I see so much potential, rounds thrown away, injuries just waiting, ineffective or lack of practice, and poor golf management. So, I started Elite Golf Performance. I have taken all I have learned and know about the game and put it into an experience and program that will take anyone’s golf game to the next level. I almost want to say, guaranteed! If the golfer will commit to a program and a better style of practice and thinking on the golf course, they will improve.
